Pinch Me: Rags first Giveaway!

Bless Meg of Meg's Ragged Edge for noticing that Rags recently passed the 125 followers mark!  I had been pondering whether this was a milestone worth celebrating and when I would do a second round of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Book.  I think I'll save that for reaching the 150 reader mark.

I wore this same cameo during the 30 for 30 Remix challenge this past November and plan to incorporate it in this year's American Gothic portrait.  Since then, Meg has added many new goodies to her Etsy shop, which I have drooled over.

I think I will run this giveaway through next Friday.  Visit Meg's Etsy shop, linked above, then leave a comment about the item in her shop that catches your eye.  Tweet it if you want to!  Friday, March 27, I'll have DH select a random number of the possible comments and select the winner.

And you can pinch me, because it's St. Patrick's Day, and  I'm not wearing any green or drinking any beer.  I'm grading the papers I should have graded yesterday.  Friday, I'll be silent as part of Utterly Engaged's organized effort on behalf of Japan.

  6. I feel like such a goof ball, because I JUST realized that I meant to write no-bake cookies but instead wrote monster cookies. Note to self: don't blog when your too tired. BUT I do love monster cookies too, and they both have peanut butter, SO I'm thinking I should do a batch that combines the two concepts!!! I'll keep you posted. haha

  12. Well done on all your followers. So well deserved. I love the Etsy shop, everything is amazing but my favourite would have to be the Admit One Cat- Your Lucky Ticket Necklace. Pete would love that too.

  13. hee hee, i never enter giveaways because 9 times out of ten, the prize doesn't suit me anyways, so why not let it go to someone it will.

    however.

for favorites, it's a tie - clockwork little girl or raven's key, i'm not sure.....that's so exciting you've reached 125~! i always find such interesting readers here on your blog, too, the quality thing is astronomical! re: st. paddy, i'm wearing a lavender and grey outfit, and my 80 year old landlord was SURE he'd get a pinch in. but i've pinned an embroidered peacock feather to my collar (and his 12 year old grandson found every other speck of green on my outfit as well!). i told him it's a decoy outfit - all the luck to you today, green or no! steph

  14. No pinches here--I wore green, including my grandmother's green rhinestone shamrock pin (costume jewelry circa 1960s something).

    Congrats on hitting 125!

  16. Congratulations, dear lady!

I think my favorite of Meg's work has to be the Escutcheon Necklace - pretty and with nerdy etymology!

P.S. The necklace that you won from me is on its way - I held off mailing (or touching) it when I was ill so I wouldn't risk sending germs by mail!

  23. I'm rather partial to the post card pendant, though I wouldn't say no to a swallow-emblazoned dress either! Wouldn't it be fun if I won your necklace after you won mine? ; D
